A Boy and His KiteI remind people of someone else they know, but I’m not sure if other people remind them of me.

I was a college theater major, but provide administrative assistance to pay the bills. I am married to Susie Songbird.

I’m a pro-life, gun-ownership-aspiring, war-supporting, small-government, Conservative Christian. I listen to talk radio, have a subscription to National Review, and vote Republican. When I arrived in Boston during the Clinton administration, this was not the case.

I like to think I’m funny. I enjoy music, kayaking, biking, hiking, kites, movies, light home renovation, antiquing, driving, and fine beers of the darker varieties (when not driving).

Let me know if I forgot anything!

    HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!

So excited that we are still able to call you at random hours of the night and wish you a happy birthday!

Sorry that we’re so far away now, but we know that you’re enjoying the near peak autumn weather in Maine and will probably fly your kite in celebration and show off in front of the tourists! HA ha…

We’ve found a store with an obsession for microbrews, so get over here to Cincy and we’ll celebrate with you.

    Love,

David, Melissa, & Emma (soy beer for her ;-) )

Aw, you guys are sweet! Thanks so much, it was great to get your call!

If you’ve read Susan’s birthday regards at her blog, you’d think I’d be more likely to be convalescing under a quilt and sipping an Ensure than flying the kite. I hope she thinks this through before I tell her that renovation is bad for my back…

Sorry I’m a day late but HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! O.K., so what did you drink in celebration?
    :)

Well, in the course of my “birthday week”, I had a Harpoon Summer, an Imperial Pint Sam Smith’s Oatmeal Stout, and a Guinness! Not too shabby…
